Final Clip #1 - Life of a Tree

Run Time: 11 Seconds

This clip is a slightly tweaked version on rough clip #3. I tried to get the timing of the shots near the end to flow a bit more.

Final Clip #2 - Graphic Matching

Run Time: 9 Seconds

This clip was made combining the second and fourth rough clips, taking out the best transitions and juxtapositions to clash the two styles together.

For best results, stare at the center.

Final Clip #3 - Rebirth of a Leaf

Run Time: 9 Seconds

This final clip was taken from my fifth rough clip. It is a progression of still images, focusing mostly color transition from a dead leaf to a live one.

Rough Clip #1

Run Time: 5 Seconds

This video is using color transitions as well as some interesting movement I was able to capture on video.

Rough Clip #2

Run Time: 12 Seconds

I had found this reoccurring pattern while taking the stills of trees and tried to give a little contrast to it.

Rough Clip #3

Run Time: 11 Seconds

This video was made from stills, resembling another color transition. This time I tried to go on a larger scale by loosely portraying the life of a tree.

Rough Clip #4

Run Time: 13 Seconds

This series of images should be viewed staring at the center of the video to get the full effect.

Rough Clip #5

Run Time: 9 Seconds

This is a simulation of the color transition of leaves altered slightly to highlight some of the standout frames.

Light Capturing Strategy #1

My second strategy is to photograph/record color transitions. I plan to focus mainly on color progression and with it being autumn, I should be able to get some interesting transitions from leaves and trees in general.

Light Capturing Strategy #2

My first strategy is to photograph/record only trees that have been knocked down. I chose this because I remembered seeing all of the trees on the hillside in the park that had gotten knocked down in previous years.
